  • He is famed for his catchphrases "Nice to see you, to see you nice", "Give us a twirl, Anthea", "Brucey Bonus", "It's gonna be a good night tonight if you play your cards right" and "Good game, good game".

  • Bruce Joseph Forsyth-Johnson was born in Edmonton, North London on February 22nd, 1928.

  • Bruce was appointed an OBE in 1998.

  • He made his TV debut in 1938 and has one son, Jonathan Joseph, with wife Wilnelia Merced Forsyth
